Here’s some testimonials:
“I joined Good Works as a volunteer after attending the first series of events for young people at Newman House. I was a working student at Birkbeck at the time, dividing my time between my passion for my studies and my day job in financial recruitment. Good Works has been there for me at a time when I was asked to do something immoral if not downright illegal and my job was on the line. I wouldn't have recovered from losing that job without coming across Good Works at a time when I was feeling alone and discouraged against a world of business that needed significant change. It has allowed me to surround myself with like-minded people and not give up on my values when things got tough because I had an example of a better way in front of me. What the saints do to our faith, the people involved in Good Works have done to my career as a Catholic woman, and my faith has also grown stronger as a result” - Alessia Cesana, volunteer since January 2015.
“Volunteering with good works brings a valuable and rewarding experience, mixing faith and the work place. After all, good works promotes the kind of work place that we all strive to work in.” - Richard Harris, volunteer since 2018
